The space

Gypsy Guesthouse consists of 3 units.

JADE
The Jade unit has a double bed, with ensuite full bathroom and sliding door leading out onto the private patio and large garden. Jade is self catering with a separate, fully equipped kitchen with dining table.

MAGENTA
Magenta is an opulent room with a magnificent king size bed, The leather couch in the bay window, is a perfect spot to sit and soak up the winter sun or to catch the summer breeze.
The ensuite bathroom has a shower and a chandelier!
Magenta is a perfect unit for an overnight or short stay. There is a coffee station, microwave and fridge. It is not ideal for self catering.

TOPAZ
Topaz is a luxurious, romantic unit, perfect for two people requiring a bit of extra space The Topaz unit is self-catering with a separate, fully equipped open plan kitchen which has a 4 burner gas stove and oven, full size fridge, dining area for 4, and lounge area, with cosy wood burning fireplace.
The large wooden bedroom door leads out onto the patio and peaceful garden.

Topaz can be combined with Magenta to form a two bedroom unit, perfect for 4 people.

All units have their own entrance, serviced daily, has a smart TV with Netflix. Wi-Fi . Braai facilities.

There is also an outdoor waterfall shower. Just to add to the unique experience. For pampering we have our own onsite massage studio, with trained massage therapist.

Neighbourhood

We are a short 600m away from the centre of the arty village of Clarens. Close enough to walk, but far enough away for peace and quiet.
Clarens is a quaint village like no other in South Africa. The heart of the village is the town square, where regular events happen. There are a multitude of shops and restaurants around the square.
The concervancy area provides well laid out hiking trails, so can enjoy the natural beauty of our area.
Clarens is 30km away from the Golden Gate Highlands nature reserve.

Good to know

You will be greeted by our mascot and concierge Murphy, who is the friendliest bull mastiff ever. And of course, he is the face of TRAVEL MOOLA!
The owners or host live on the property and offer unsurpassed hospitality.

2. BE KIND, considerate and respectful to your fellow guests and our neighbors
(keep the noise down and no running around in the garden naked 🙂 )
3. Clarens is a peaceful town. Please help us keep it that way. NO NOISE AFTER 10pm
4. NO NOISY PARTIES and NO VISITORS
5. DON’T FEED OUR FURY FRIENDS. They are well cared for, and snacks and treats often make them sick. Please don’t let the cats and dog into your unit.
